As chaos continues in Portland (People's Republic), federal authorities authorities and the Trump administration have increased pressure on the out-of-control city.
U.S. Attorney Scott Bradford explicitly demanded that “all federal employees be able to enter and exit the ICE office without harassment or obstruction” and also ordered the city to “establish a perimeter around the ICE office.”
President Donald Trump's message was clear: comply or face the consequences. And yet, Democratic Portland Mayor Keith Wilson's incredible—though not entirely true—response?
Wilson not only refused to create a perimeter around the ICE facility, but also ordered Tremoving police tape near the object.
Yes, I'll take this as a definitive no to Scott Bradford.
Petty? Certainly. But to decent, moral people, Wilson's heinous actions still seem more than a little shameless, especially given the daily threat faced by people who are simply trying to protect lives and restore what passes for safety in Portland.
Wilson told National Security Adviser James Percival that while federal officials may want open access, the city will not automatically hand it over upon request because reported Fox News on Saturday:
The Mayor and our local public safety officials will continue to evaluate the situation on the ground and will continue to make public safety decisions based on what they believe is in the best interests of Portland and our community.
Yes.
Translation: “We will continue to monitor the situation – not out of concern for ICE officers or anyone nearby, but through the lens of our radical belief that illegals should be allowed to cross the southern border whenever they please, and that the Republicans and their fascist government are powerless to stop it. Oh, and as for Trump? The depth of our internal hatred has already gone off scale.”
It should be noted that in September, Trump called for National Guard troops to be sent to Portland to work with ICE agents to round up illegal immigrants and nip far-left violence in its infancy.

Bottom line
As our side often says, the left hates Donald Trump more than they love America. While this is true, the reality becomes even darker.
What started out as political hostility toward all things Trump has turned into something much more vicious. When the radicalized left goes so far as to deliberately endanger the lives of innocent people (by attacking people simply for doing their duty to uphold the laws that protect us all), we are no longer dealing with divisions. We are witnessing a moral collapse.
