Porsha Williams ‘verbally assaulted’ on flight home, attorney says

Porsha Williams of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” apparently took a hit from a woman flying back to Georgia from Las Vegas on Sunday night, her lawyer said.

The Atlanta Police Department said Tuesday it investigated the incident and later provided statements from victims and witnesses to the FBI. He did not specifically identify Williams.

“Upon arrival, officers made contact with two females who may have been involved in the dispute,” the department said in a statement posted on its website. “The preliminary investigation indicates that both parties may have been involved in a verbal dispute, which reportedly escalated into a physical dispute during the flight into Atlanta.”

So, Real Housewives' lawyer, Joe Habachy, did specifically identified his client, saying in his statement: “Ms. Williams was verbally assaulted by an angry and upset passenger without any provocation. The passenger then proceeded to make false accusations that directly contradicted the observations of multiple eyewitnesses.”

The women were separated “at the scene” and both sides were questioned by officers, police said.

Williams was on BravoCon 2025 Fan Festival in Las Vegas before she was filmed walking with officers who met her at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. TMZ I posted the video on Monday. A Delta spokesperson told the site that both women were spoken to both on the plane and at the airport.

“FBI Atlanta is aware of the in-flight incident,” a spokesman for the office said in a statement Tuesday. “It is unknown at this time whether federal charges will be pursued.”

But Habachi's lawyer said it's normal for something to happen on a plane. “[F]Federal authorities have a responsibility to conduct an investigation involving all parties to determine what, if any, wrongdoing occurred,” he said, adding that Williams intends to cooperate with law enforcement “to the extent necessary.”

She is confident the other passenger will eventually be charged, he said.
