Welcome to Pompeii: Legacy
Pompeii: Legacy has reached a major milestone as it completes its first month in Early Access on Steam. To celebrate the occasion, the game released its first major update along with a 20% discount. Developed by solo developer Siscia Games, this historical city-building title has quickly gained popularity, boasting a positive rating of 85% and a good average playtime since its debut in September.
The new update expands the ancient city with five new buildings: the Pozzolan Mine, the Academy, the Basilica, the Jewelry Store and the Circus, each designed to enrich the gameplay and management of the city. Players can expect a smoother experience with optimized models and textures, reduced load times, and end-game stability. These improvements mark a significant step forward in the game's current Early Access roadmap, which includes four planned milestones ahead of full release.
In addition to the new structures, several systems were introduced last month to improve gameplay, such as dynamic events, ship trade paths, Steam achievements, and trading cards. These features open up new levels of strategy and rewards, giving players more reasons to expand and improve their version of Pompeii.
Pompeii: The Legacy continues to evolve thanks to player feedback and ongoing development, demonstrating what one dedicated creator can achieve. The game is currently available on Steam with a 20% discount, and can also be purchased as part of the Historic City Builder themed packs, which includes Patron, and From the Roman Empire to the Stars, which includes Starpoint Gemini Warlords and Pompeii: The Legacy.
