These evolution methods don't exactly fit with the others, but they do require something very narrow and specific – some requirement that no other Pokémon has. Legends: FOR stock.

- In cart = Pancham + level 32 + dark type Pokemon in your group
- Sylveon = Evie + knows the fairy trick + high friendship
- Goodra = Sliggu + level 50 + rainy weather
- Teacher = Inkay + level 30 + inverted Nintendo Switch in handheld mode
- Grapploct* = Clobbopus + knows the move Taunt (learned at level 35)
- Sirfetch'd* = Galarian Farfetch'd + 3 critical hits in one battle.
- Runerigus* = Galarian Yamaska + 49 or more damage taken + stand under the Kulant-Waterway Bridge.
- Overquil* = Hisuan Kuilfish + use Flurry of Thorns 20 times.
- Annihilape* = Primeape + use Fist of Fury 20 times.
