Ice Beam Location in Pokémon Legends: ZA

While searching for Gwynn during mission 19 “Reaching D Rank”, your trainer, Emma and Ivor deduce that Gwynn has gone down into the sewers underneath Lumiose City. However, water flowing from the fountain into the sewer is blocking your party's path, and you will have to freeze the fountain using Ice Beam so that it stops flowing. (It should be noted that there are several other Ice-type moves that can also help, such as Freeze Dry or Blizzard. However, weaker moves like Icy Wind don't seem to work.)

To get Ice Beam, go to Wild Zone 12which is home to several Ice-type Pokémon, so you might want a Fighting, Fire, Rock, or Steel-type Pokémon leading your team in case you get into a fight with some wild Pokémon. Once inside the wild zone, find Pokémon battle area on the north side of the wild zone.. Its entrances are blocked by stones, so you'll need a Pokémon that knows a Fighting-type move in your group to get them out of the way.

Once on the court, you will have to fight off Machop and Machawk before the yellow TM ball is yours. Teach this to one of your Pokemon, such as Feraligatr, if you chose Totodile as your starterand you'll be ready to head into the sewers and continue your search for Gwynn.
