So trading card fan Nicole just wanted to show off how she's giving her Pokemon tins a second life on social media. Instead, she inadvertently started a trend that has inspired creatives and degenerates alike.
It all started with simple post. “I love using cute Pokemon jars for my cute things ⋆₊˚⊹♡,” she wrote on social media site X, along with a photo of the quirky container. Inside the Pokemon jar were everyday items like cosmetics, band-aids, headphones, and a Calico Critter figurine just in case.
This prompted other people to share how they repurposed a box of Pokemon trading cards. Lots of answers caught a charming spirit original message or Highlights smart uses for durable vessels. Others have joined the trend, offering combinations that no sane person would ever use anywhere.
Apparently (or hopefully) using Pokemon card jars to store food is just trolling. Either way, Pokemon cans are obviously a universal canvas for jokes.
Despite the strange responses, Nicole seems to be taking the viral meme in stride. “I've seen the craziest things in tin cans in my quotes over the past few days,” she wrote on X in a post interspersed with crying emojis. “You guys are so creative with this,” she wrote in response to someone who apparently kept popcorn in their Pokemon jar.
Some posts managed to reveal her cold behavior. However, it makes sense. What do you even say to the person who puts lasagna in a Pokemon box?
However, don't worry. There were more weirdos than Pokemon card fans who used their jars the way Giratina intended.
