‘Pluribus’ fans, you can now read Carol’s ‘Bloodsong of Wycaro’

Dreams really can come true. In some cases, it's like getting the job you've always wanted or finding the love of your life. In my case, it's like reading an excerpt from a fictional romance novel on a TV show.

This show is a science fiction series by Vince Gilligan and Apple TV. For manyand this novel is nothing more than Blood Song of Vicaro Carol Sturka (played by Rhea Seehorn).

How will viewers find out For many premiere, Blood Song of Vicaro this is the fourth book in [Carol's] Winds of Vicaro trilogy”. The series as a whole is a best-seller, and die-hard fans are eager to see the high-stakes romance between Captain Lucasia and Corsair Raban unfold. Carol hates fans. And her job, but that didn't stop me hoping that Vicaro books can somehow become reality.

And now they exist! Like.

Apple Books has released a free chapter from Blood Song of Vicarowhich reunites Lucasia and Raban in the island cave. The entire passage is a precise pastiche of historical fantasy, filled with otherworldly jargon and overly descriptive passages. You can imagine Carol rolling her eyes when she writes about sand cyclocanes and painful moonburns. Still, it's hard not to be drawn into the story of Lucasia and Rabanus, even without the context of the other three books to help us.

Mashable Breaking News

However the most interesting part Blood Song of Vicaro the excerpt is Carol's letter at the beginning. In the letter, Carol says she is publishing this excerpt to appease the hordes of Rabasia shippers who are unhappy that Raban (presumably dead after walking the board) is not on the cover.

“You know that I officially despise “spoilers” in any form, and that I prefer to let events unfold in their own time through Lucasia's tormented eyes. But I also understand that this is not everyone’s preference,” Carol writes in the letter. “Different strokes for different people. What kind of hell would the world be if we all thought the same?!”

Of course, the whole world thinks the same. exactly like that the hell that awaits Carol in For manywhere she is one of the few people who is not influenced by the hivemind of happiness. This phrase is a darkly ironic reminder of what awaits her. The same goes for the beginning of the letter, which says that Carol is finishing the last stage Blood Song of Vicaro tour. IN For manythe worldwide unification of the hivemind occurs immediately after the tour ends, meaning that at the time of writing this letter and publishing the excerpt, Carol has very little time left before the world as she knew it disappears.
