PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra tiers will receive an impressive lineup of games throughout the year. One of the best Assassin's Creed games in recent memory, the excellent Team Ninja Soulslike and many others will be available for subscription on December 16th. announced in a PlayStation blog post on Wednesday.
After the series moved towards vast and expansive role-playing games, Assassin's Creed Mirage it's something of a return to the roots of Ubisoft's long-running series. It still has an open world, but it's smaller and denser than Valhalla or Odysseyand the main story can be completed in about 20 o'clock. You play as Basim, a street thief who is recruited into the Hidden Ones. Taurik Musa from Polygon liked it and called Mirage one of the best works in the series.
Also arrival Wo Long: Fallen Dynastyoutstanding Soulslike from Team Ninja. Like many of the studio's games, including the Nioh games, Vo Long It doesn't skimp on violence or complexity. Polygon's Khee Hoon Chan called it “a journey worth taking, even if it means dedicating another three hours to the next boss fight.”
However, not all of the new additions are AAA games. For those looking for smaller indie classes, it's worth checking out Skate historywhich was released on the first day of the platform on Monday. You ride through the underworld as a glass demon, performing stunts on your way to devouring moons. It's trippy and does more than just repeat that skating is cool.
Additional games joining the Game Catalog: Granblue Fantasy: Linking, Planet Coaster 2, Cat quest 3, Lego Horizon Adventure, PAW Patrol: Grand PrixAnd Paw Patrol World. Throwback Brawler Soulcalibur 3 will join PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers as part of the Classic Premium line-up.
The PlayStation Plus game catalog, featuring games for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, is available to those who subscribe to higher tiers above Essentials. In some ways, it's Sony's answer to Xbox Game Pass, offering hundreds of games for subscribers to download and try.
