Battlefield 6 has a daily XP limit, and yes, this applies on weekends too with double XP.
Players believe they have found proof that once you reach 1.5 million experience in one day, you “literally earn nothing” until the day resets to zero.

For most players, this might not seem like much of a problem—it's not a big deal for me—but the cap also seems to apply when there are double XP weekends, with one player reporting that you can “reach this cap in just 4-5 hours of play.”
“In a $70 AAA game, not a free-to-play mobile game, they tell you how much fun you're allowed to have per day,” one player wrote. “This is not a free grindfest with live services. It's a full-fledged shooter with a gacha-like F2P system stuck on top.”
Battlefield 6 has DAILY LIMITED EXP, even during Double XP Weekends! You're kidding me, EA!

“EA somehow managed to make progression time limited to a premium game and almost no one talks about it. You buy a game, pay for cosmetics, a battle pass, AND now you're limited in how much experience you can earn daily? Unreal. This is disgusting and anti-player to the core.
“Players deserve to know this before they buy. Stop pretending everything is fine just because it's Battlefield.”
“Yesterday I got 200k XP for one win in RedSec, the game lasted 21 minutes” added another player. “Honestly, 1.5 meters doesn’t seem that crazy.”
“It’s not that crazy. Yesterday I got 140,000 XP for playing with gloves.” expressed an opinion another.
However, not everyone is outraged.
“If you reach 1.5 million experience in one day, you will have to go outside” replied another player, and someone else said: “While I understand their point, I think that if you're spending enough daily gaming time for this to become an issue, it might be time to reconsider some things in your life.”
However, even those who disagree with the essence of the complaint agree.
“I won't reach the experience limit either, because I can only work for a maximum of 2 hours. But I agree with OP, a game I'm paying $70 for, I should be allowed to grind until my mouse/controller falls apart if I want to.” expressed an opinion someone else.
Yesterday we reported that Battlefield 6 “reintroduces bots for a proven experience”. Bots were originally removed as part of an effort to “support healthier matchmaking”, but they have now returned in Conquest, Breakthrough and Rush, with up to 12 bots appearing in each game mode. Tasks will remain “doable” with the help of bots.
Earlier this week EA and Battlefield Studios have made sweeping changes to the challenges.cutting down the necessary steps for class assignments, weapon assignments, gameplay and mastery assignments, and more. And last weekend Battlefield 6 “made some temporary changes” to XP earned at Strikepoint as it works toward a “long-term solution.” This is also introduced a new “relaxed way” to play, “while still earning progress and completing challenges”.
