PIONER Shoots Onto Steam Early Access Today

Step into the post-apocalyptic world of PIONER

GFA Games has released PIONER, its highly anticipated post-apocalyptic MMO FPS, which is now available worldwide through Steam Early Access. The Standard Edition costs $29.99 and currently includes a limited-time 10 percent launch discount. Players can also opt for the Deluxe Edition on Steam, which adds a collection of exclusive in-game bonuses.

The Early Access launch marks the starting point for the long-term development of PIONER. The studio plans to share a detailed update roadmap soon. It will outline upcoming features, content releases and live events. The first major storyline expansion will arrive in early 2026, continuing to expand the game's narrative and world.

The Deluxe Edition offers several cosmetic and progression-oriented rewards. These include an exclusive Renegade armor and gear skin, a weapon skin with enhanced visuals that can be used on the AR-12, AR-16 and AR-16 Ifrit platforms, and an exclusive Founder title designed for social interaction. Players also receive 500 Efreetanium Crystals as premium currency, a Creepy Charm weapon charm, and a Katana Watch, a retro-futuristic gadget inspired by the design of classic Japanese watches from the 1980s.

Set on a vast post-apocalyptic island shaped by remnants of the Soviet era, PIONEER presents an alternate reality built with a strong emphasis on atmosphere and realism. The open world spans over 50 square kilometers and is full of hidden dungeons, story quests, and faction-based missions. Combining narrative exploration with high-stakes PvE and PvP combat, the game puts player choice at the center. This will allow them to directly shape both the world and its evolving social landscape.
