Calling all half-bloods! Disney+ has released the full trailer for the film. Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season two and it looks like it's going to be a very enjoyable time.
Based on Sea of Monsterssecond book in Rick Riordan's girlfriend rowSeason two reunites viewers with Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell), son of the Greek god Poseidon (Toby Stephens). Following the return of Master Bolt Zeus (Courtney B. Vance, replacing the late Lance Reddick) and the prevention of war among the Olympians in season one, Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood for the summer.
However, this year is different. Percy's satyr best friend Grover (Arian Simhadri) has gone missing while searching for Pan. To make matters worse, Kronos' assistant Luke (Charlie Bushnell) has poisoned the tree that protects the entire camp from monsters – the same tree that Zeus' daughter Thalia (Tamara Smart) turned into before the events of the first season. Now Percy must travel to the Sea of Monsters, also known as the Bermuda Triangle, to find the Golden Fleece and save Grover and Camp Half-Blood.
He is accompanied by Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries), the wise daughter of Athena (Andra Day); Clarisse (Dior Goujon), the hot-tempered daughter of Ares (Adam Copeland); and Tyson (Daniel Diemer), Percy the Cyclops' newly discovered half-brother.
The trailer shows off massive naval battles, new monster encounters, and even a glimpse of Talia in action. However, there is still no sign of what book fans are most looking forward to: Grover in a wedding dress.
