Key events
Patriots 7-0 Bill 10:14 1st Quarter
The Bills start their offense with excellent position at midfield following a 45-yard kickoff return by Ray Davis. Brandin Cooks then immediately camps them in the red zone… until he catches the monster after checking and is called back incomplete. 2nd and 10 for 50.
TOUCHDOWN! Jaguars 7-0 Jets 10:18, 1st quarter
TOUCHDOWN! Patriots 7-0 Bills 11:11 1st quarter
The hot hit gives fans something to scream about as it eludes the QB. He runs left and finds a pylon.
Patriots 0-0 Bills 12:31, 1st quarter
Early luck for the Pats as they made a 30-yard catch that definitely wasn't a catch. Kayshawn Boutte catches a nice long pass but uses the ground to keep it out. The referees are completely oblivious to this, and New England rushes to make the next playoffs. They are now first and goal.
TOUCHDOWN! Texans 7-0 Cardinals 14:11, 1st quarter
Well, it didn't take long. Arizona's defense has recovered from last week's nightmare against the Rams. Collins receives a short pass and simply converts it.
Patriots 0-0 Bills 15:00, 1st quarter
We're off! Let's start by focusing on the essentials in the early window. Buffalo pushes it back as snow falls in Foxboro. First look at Drake May and company…more.
This -12C at Soldier Field in Chicago. Brrrrr
Big injury news as of today, Tee Higgins is out with a concussion for the Bengals, and a trio of QBs are out for the game: Geno Smith of the Raiders, Tyrod Taylor of the Jets and Jayden Daniels of the Commanders are all missing.
I believe most fantasy players will start the playoffs today, so how did we all handle the regular season and Are we confident that we can become a champion??
I stole first place in my dynasty league with one catch, as I did after Ladd McConkey's lone catch against the Eagles on Monday night gave me the game-tying lead by 0.15 points. Without it, the Chattanooga Chinchillas would be struggling today, but thanks to Mr. McConkie, I'm doing great bye week. Excellent margin.
A little later, we play for cash at home in five matches from 15:25 CST/16:25 EST/21:25 GMT (home team listed first):
-
(11-2) Denver Broncos v Green Bay Packers (9-3-1)
-
(10-3) Los Angeles Rams v Detroit Lions (8-5)
-
(3-10) New Orleans Saints v Carolina Panthers (7-6)
-
(9-4) San Francisco 49ers – Tennessee Titans (2-11)
-
(10-3) Seattle Seahawks v Indianapolis Colts (8-5)
We have a heavyweight bout between Super Bowl contenders in Denver and Green Bay. The NFC-leading Rams face a Lions team that needs a big upset on the road to stay in the postseason bubble. Then there are the Carolina Panthers, looking to take control of the NFC South with a win over their rivals. And finally, the soaring Seahawks are about to pour a cup of ice water on the most touching comeback story yet: Philip Rivers' return to save the Colts. I can't do the legend justice, so enjoy his words about his shocking return to NFL …
“No zoom! Let's go!”
Preamble
Hey football family, it's week 15 and what a treat. NFL has in stock. These are simply the best early and late Sunday tournaments this year, with more hitters on the schedule. And we're excited to share every pick, every sack, and hopefully even a few touchdowns together, starting with eight games at 12:00 CST/1:00 PM EST/6:00 PM GMT (home team listed first):
-
(9-4) Chicago Bears v Cleveland Browns (3-10)
-
(4-9) Cincinnati Bengals v Baltimore Ravens (6-7)
-
(8-5) Houston Texans v Arizona Cardinals (3-10)
-
(9-4) Jacksonville Jaguars v New York Jets (3-10)
-
(6-7) Kansas City Chiefs v Los Angeles Chargers (9-4)
-
(11-2) New England Patriots v Buffalo Bills (9-4)
-
(2-11) New York Giants v Washington Commanders (3-10)
-
(8-5) Philadelphia Eagles – Las Vegas Raiders (2-11)
The pick in this litter is New England vs. Buffalo. The Patriots can close out the AFC East with a win and keep pressure on Denver for the No. 1 seed, while Buffalo can still claim the division crown from the Pats if they win today. The real game to prove it is for hot QB Drake Maye, who will face reigning MVP Josh Allen. Read more about the keys to victory here…
Elsewhere, Kansas City plays for its postseason life against its AFC West rival, the Los Angeles Chargers. Baltimore needs a strong rebound from Cincinnati's explosive offense to avoid sliding further into the AFC North, and Philadelphia will need to desperately find some offensive life against Las Vegas to avoid a season-ending collapse and a fourth straight loss. And then there are the Texans, Jaguars and Bears, who continue to chug through January football with a quiet, low-key win over a weak opponent. Perhaps there is a bump in the road coming into view? Let's find out.
