Path of Exile: Keepers of the Flame is out now, bringing a new wave of darkness and challenging the long-running role-playing game. At the Monastery of the Guardians, adventurers will discover the Tree of Genesis, a grotesque source of creation that produces unique resources and grafts, living additions that merge with flesh, bestowing evolving powers shaped by the currency of the Mudborn.
The expansion adds new skill and support gems, including kinetic rain and living lightning. The introduction of Bloodline Ascension classes allows players to absorb the power of fallen bosses, opening up countless avenues for destructive character builds.
Players looking for the ultimate challenge can face three new Uber bosses, the embodiments of Zana's despair. Each one offers powerful rewards to those who win. The long-awaited asynchronous trading system also debuts, allowing instant item transactions even when offline, with Faust handling trading and currency exchange starting in Act 6.
The Keepers Challenge League adds 40 new challenges, each rewarding persistence with exclusive gear. This also includes the Keeper of the Flame armor set. Two new support packs, Theopolis Champion and Green Mage, contain additional cosmetic items and bonuses. Keepers of the Flame is now free to play on PC, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox and Epic Games.
