VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 21, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Western Canada's largest annual real estate conference takes place October 21-22 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
The two-day conference, hosted by the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board (FVREB) and Greater Vancouver REALTORS® (GVR), has become the flagship event for organized real estate in the country, a forum where REALTORS®, brokers, policymakers and innovators come together to share ideas, strengthen leadership and advance the profession and public that they represent.
“PacificWest is not just an opportunity for professional development, it is a chance for real estate professionals from across Canada to come together, explore and share opportunities to improve the services and protections that the real estate profession provides to the public,” said Jeff King, CEO of GVR. “This is a Canadian conference focusing on Canadian issues, from regulation and professional practice to innovation and professionalism.”
This year's program includes a broad program offering information in a range of areas, from economic forecasting and technological innovation to professional practice and leadership. The conference also has a strong focus on professional development, with sessions designed to provide REALTORS® with practical strategies for managing change, building client confidence and balancing business growth with well-being.
“PacificWest 2025 highlights the role of REALTORS® as vital partners in the housing ecosystem,” said Baldev Gill, CEO of FVREB. “His world-class program gives our members the insight and tools to strengthen this role and help find solutions to today's housing challenges.”
Last year's event attracted approximately 1,200 participants, and this year's conference is expected to exceed that number. As housing affordability and supply dominate Canada's policy agenda, PacificWest 2025 provides an excellent opportunity for real estate professionals to collaborate across regions and disciplines, and highlight the sector's value in advancing affordability and other solutions.
