A new region awaits on Pacific Drive
Ironwood Studios and Kepler Interactive have expanded the world Pacific Drive with the Whispers in the Woods DLC. This new premium expansion is now available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Unveiled during the Fall Galaxies Expo, it introduces players to a previously unexplored region of the Olympic Exclusion Zone, filled with new mysteries, challenges, and strange occurrences. The reveal also marked Pacific Drive's first appearance on Xbox Series X|S, making the game available to even more players. Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now explore the base game as part of their library starting today.
Whispers in the Woods is a new storyline set deep in the eerie heart of OEZ. Here, players will encounter new types of intersections, discover strange anomalies, and experiment with powerful artifacts that cause unpredictable effects. This expansion is based on a unique combination of survival and driving mechanics, challenging players to test their skills and resilience in a world created by both science and the supernatural.
In addition to the DLC, Ironwood Studios has released a patch for the base game for all platforms. It fixes many bugs and significantly improves performance.
For newcomers, Pacific Drive is now available in several packages. Ritual Edition offers a complete feature set, including the base game, the Whispers in the Woods expansion, and four themed cosmetic packs inspired by space, dumpsters, ice, and anomalies. Alternatively, Whispers Edition provides a simplified option. It combines the base game with the recently released expansion for those ready to embark on their first thrilling ride.
