OpenAI has announced an update for ChatGPT Images which he says radically improves both the generation speed and the ability to follow the image generator's instructions.
The company said in a blog post on Tuesday that the update will make it much easier to accurately edit AI-generated images. Previous versions of the program had difficulty following instructions and often introduced unwanted changes.
“The update includes much cleaner follow-through, precision editing, and 4x faster generation speeds, making image creation and iteration much more convenient,” the company wrote.
“This marks a shift from new image creation to hands-on high-quality visual effects creation, making ChatGPT a fast and flexible creative studio for everyday editing, expressive transformations and real-world use.”

The announcement came just weeks after OpenAI CEO Sam Altman code red announced in a memo within your company to improve the quality of ChatGPT.
In the document, Altman said OpenAI still has work to do to improve the everyday experience. your chatbot according to The Wall Street Journal, for example, by allowing it to answer a wider range of questions and improving its speed, reliability and personalization features for users.
Altman's company-wide memo comes as rivals chip away at OpenAI's lead in the AI race. Last month, Google released a new version of its Gemini model that beat OpenAI in industry tests.

To focus on “code red” improvements to ChatGPT, OpenAI will delay work on other initiatives such as a personal assistant called Pulse, advertising and artificial intelligence agents for health and shopping, Altman said in the note, according to the Journal.
Altman also said that the company will make daily calls to those responsible for improving ChatGPT, the newspaper adds.
“Our goal now is to continue to make ChatGPT more powerful, to continue to grow and expand access around the world, making it even more intuitive and personal,” wrote Nick Turley, head of ChatGPT, on Monday evening.
