Ontario man charged after snow-blower dispute in Sault Ste. Marie

A 57-year-old man was charged after police reported a dispute in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario resulted in snow due to snow blower intentionally directed at another person.

Police say they received a report on the morning of December 7 attack it happened the previous afternoon in the 100 block of Second Line West.

The investigation revealed that the defendant, identified as Christopher Wright, had an argument with someone he knew before allegedly pointing a snow blower at the victim.

No injuries were reported.

Later that day, police found and arrested the man.

Wright is charged with assault. He was released and is scheduled to appear in court on February 9, 2026.
