Enjoy new tracks in Once Upon A Katamari

Space world collecting disorder Once upon a time Katamari is expanding today with the release of its first downloadable set, a rhythmic series called Katamari Damacy Series Dance Dance Remixes. Fresh from the franchise's spectacular return, Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. and the always theatrical King of All Space add reimagined music and a small parade of nostalgic accessories taken from previous adventures. As a bonus, each player receives a Saki Hanami prince cosplay set as a gift. The game continues to be distributed on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, with new DLC available for purchase separately.

This debut package features five energetic remixes from Denonbu's Katamarespect EP, a collaboration with DEN ON BU. The collection transforms familiar favorites into new forms, including Ball of Love remixed by Shinpei Nasuno, Lonely Rolling Star by picco, Red Rose with Gun and Tonic by HARETOKIDOKI, Moon and Prince by Tatsunoshin and Katamari On The Rocks by Hirihiri. To match the music, players can expand their wardrobe with ten returning accessories, from the playful Licky Licky Candy to the soaring flying kite.

Once Upon A Katamari reimagines the series with a journey through different eras, new stages and a lively competitive mode. Its soundtrack mixes old tunes with new compositions, and the updated toolkit adds handy features like a magnet that collects nearby objects. Players can go on an adventure as a prince or choose from one of sixty-eight cousins, each with their own color and expressive faces. These characters shine in KatamariBall, a four-player mode where you collect as many Katamari as possible and then convert them into points. This mode supports online play and local matches against CPU opponents, adding a new layer to the series' enduring charm.
