Start your journey in Octopath Traveler 0
Enix Square announced that a free demo of Octopath Traveler 0 is now available following its presentation during the Sony State of Play Japan broadcast. Players can download the demo on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. All progress made in the demo will carry over to the full version when the game officially launches on December 4th. The demo introduces players to the first moments of Octopath Traveler 0, allowing them to create their own protagonist and begin their personal journey after the destruction of their hometown. It offers up to three hours of gameplay, including a prologue and the first chapters of the Master of Wealth, Master of Power and Master of Fame storylines. Players can also explore the Firestarters story arc, which showcases a new city building system to rebuild the destroyed city of Wishvale.
Octopath Traveler 0 takes place in the kingdom of Orsterra. This is a story of restoration and retribution centered around divine rings. The game retains the series' signature features, including the HD-2D visual style, Break and Boost combat system, and a variety of Path Actions that allow players to interact with NPCs in unique ways. For the first time, players can customize their protagonist and rebuild their hometown with new gameplay elements. Expanding the world introduced in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, this entry reimagines familiar storylines and adds new levels of storytelling depth, offering both new and returning fans a new adventure in Square Enix's beloved world of Orsterra.
