NordVPN is currently ranked as the best VPN of all of 2025, and with new savings of up to 77% available on two-year plans, it's the best value we've seen this year.

Two-year plans now start at just $2.99 ​​per month, plus three additional months are included on all two-year plans as part of the deal. To get the best discount, you'll look at NordVPN's most premium plans (like Prime in the US), although that doesn't mean it'll be the best deal for you.

In our experience, to get the best price you should choose NordVPN Plus plan. Not only is it available in all NordVPN regions, but it gives you access to all of NordVPN's key tools, including Threat Protection Pro, NordPass, and Meshnet, without forcing you to pay extra for NordVPN's most premium features. The NordVPN Plus plan currently costs just $3.89 per month, but remember that the VPN requires upfront payment, so it's actually $105.03 for 27 months of coverage.

You still get NordVPN's stellar performance when working with streaming services, your connection leverages all of NordVPN's best security infrastructure, and you get the lightning-fast speeds we saw during our testing. Key features you don't get: 1TB of encrypted cloud storage and various types of cyber insurance.

While NordVPN's various types of insurance can provide extra peace of mind, and encrypted cloud storage can be very useful, it quickly leads to skyrocketing prices.

The Plus plan typically costs about $80 less than NordVPN's most premium US plan, Prime, which adds various insurance options along with 1TB of encrypted cloud storage. This gap only widens after automatic renewal. However, if you're tempted by encrypted cloud storage, the full plan usually costs just $30 or so more than the Plus plan.

It's also worth knowing that, unlike almost every other VPN, NordVPN adds tax to your total cost on top of the advertised price. Only Surfshark, another VPN owned by Nord Security, uses a similar model.
