Nintendo posted in its Nintendo Today application on the YouTube channel a new short animation film, so far completely devoid of context.
In the film in the Pixar style, called “Close to you”, is a child who follows his toys around the room, it would seem, moved by invisible creatures, and all this to the accompaniment of the playful piano soundtrack.
The film was published exclusively with the name and without a description, so it is initially unclear what project (if any) it can belong, whether it be a game or a film.
Although the company does not specify which production studio created the film, some believe that this Work Nintendo Pictures – The Tokyo Animation Studio, which opened back in 2022 and previously known as Dynamo Pictures.
Moreover, music refers to the main Picmin In the beginning, a thematic melody sounds, and the emphasis on the tolerated objects definitely hints at small plant creatures. And if you look under the bed at 1:41, you will see how a small red creature fusses around.
Can it be a hint of Switch 2 version Picmin 4? In this game there are levels dedicated to the children's bedroom. But why worry about a new short cartoon?
At least this is a wonderful animated film and very cute.
