The company has confirmed that no game content will be shown during the presentation, instead warning eager viewers to expect the premiere of the first trailer for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie when the Nintendo Direct premieres this Wednesday, November 12th at 6am PT/9am ET.

This week's surprise Direct will give fans of the Mario films a closer look at how Nintendo and Illumination are bringing the events and characters featured in Super Mario Galaxy to the big screen. Trailer follows teaser video from September Directwhich mainly served to debut new footage of Mario taking a nap before a stunning shot of the Mushroom Kingdom takes viewers to the stars for the title reveal.
We don't know much about which Mario characters will appear in the Super Mario Galaxy movie, but leaks and various theories have fans expecting an action-packed sequel. One recent Pillsbury leak includes the first look at Yoshi, who was teased in the Super Mario Bros. movie, as well as teasers of other characters such as Bowser Jr. and Rosalina. Fans too hoping that the Super Mario Galaxy movie will provide more information about the origins of Peach and Rosalina..
