Nicole Kidman apparently hinted at her divorce from Keith Urban a few weeks before the official announcement of this news.
IN cover interview for Vogue magazine In the November issue, the “Babes” actress nodded to the changes in her life with a cryptic comment.
When asked how she's feeling at 50, Kidman responded, “How many times do you have to be taught that you think you know where your life is going and then it goes in the wrong direction?”
Although the interview took place several weeks before the split was confirmed, Kidman hinted at big changes throughout the conversation.
Vogue editor Wendell Stevenson, who conducted the interview, said she had a feeling. something was wrong between Kidman and the country musician.
“During our conversations, I had an inkling of this, but did not want to pry into the details,” Stevenson wrote. “When I asked how she felt now, at 50, I expected a nice, trite answer about the wisdom of age.”
“Instead, Kidman was irritable, sad and unsure of herself.”
The cover story appeared after the actress filed for divorce from Urban after 19 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
Urban has not yet publicly commented on this news and is currently on his “High and Alive World Tour“
As for how Kidman deals with life's adversities, she said, “I put that into my work. That's the beauty of what I do. There's a place where some of it can explode, explode, process, open up.”
