Nick Suzuki parmi l’élite de la LNH depuis le 1er janvier

Nick Suzuki faces a stormy 2025.

The Canadiens captain completed the last campaign successfully, allowing his team to reach the playoffs. And he picked up where he left off this fall, scoring 10 points in seven games to start the new season.

C 1is Thus, in January last year, Suzuki added 63 points to his record. Only David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins (77 points), Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning (70 points) and Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche (65 points) have since raised their record higher than No. 14 in the Championship.

This means Suzuki is ahead of the likes of Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, Jack Eichel and Auston Matthews in this regard with just over two months until next New Year.

What's more, the 26-year-old leads the NHL in points (46) as well as differential (+22) since returning from the 4 Nations Showdown break.

Last year, Suzuki had the best season of his career, scoring 89 points in 82 games. If he maintains his current pace, he will surpass the 100-point mark by the end of this campaign.

This would make him the first CH player to reach this plateau since… Mats Naslund in 1985-1986.
