Niagara Regional Police say members of their fraud unit began investigating a suspect in “several” alleged scams in June.

After a lengthy investigation, the woman was arrested on Tuesday.
Aizu Andres is charged with two counts of fraud over $5,000, three counts of forgery and one count of fraud over $5,000.
The accused was held for a forgery hearing on Tuesday in St. Catharines. Police have not said Andresa has been granted bail.

Police said investigators are concerned about Andres and similar crimes elsewhere in the province.
