Young's performance would be the Saints' only defensive highlight in the first half. Tennessee took a 20-10 lead into the locker room after Ward bounced back with a touchdown pass to Elik Iyomanor before halftime.

New Orleans struggled most of the season, but the defense should have been something to be proud of. The Saints entered the game eighth in yards allowed and 14th in points allowed.
