The conversation caught the attention of some NFL fans as they recalled what Johnson told reporters when he was introduced as the Bears' head coach in January.
“Honestly, I loved beating Matt LaFleur twice a year,” he said after returning from the Detroit Lions, where he served as offensive coordinator under Dan Campbell.
Chicago was on the verge of Green Bay. The Packers are running back Josh Jacobs ran for a touchdown with 3:32 left in the game. Then Bears cornerback Caleb Williams made an interception in the end zone in the final moments.

LaFleur ran onto the field to greet Johnson. The entire conversation lasted a few seconds. LaFleur was jubilant as soon as he returned to the locker room.
“It was a quick handshake and we'll see them again in two weeks,” LaFleur told reporters, downplaying any personal differences between him and Johnson.
television company FOX Tom Brady expressed his opinion about the handshake.
“I'm sure it was as cold as the temperature,” Brady said after the game. “I think both teams had to go out and buy extra notice boards leading up to the week. There was a lot of material going both ways.
“The coaches talk nonsense. I mean, the coaches were like, “Hey guys, don't talk tonight.” No, they're like, damn, we say whatever we want – just the two of them. So it will be. And these two young coaches will be with these programs for a while. We'll see some great matches between these teams.”
Green Bay owns the NFC North after a 9-3-1 record. Chicago fell to 9-4.
