He talked about his first professional pictures after the game.

“I don’t think I played well,” Sanders said. “I don't think I played well at all. I think it's a lot of things, you know, we need to look at it during the week, go out and just get comfortable, even running routes, you know, with Jerry (Judy) and running routes with all these guys.

“So, I think that was my first ball to him all year. But other than that, I just think overall we just have to go into next week and understand that then we have a week to prepare what I like to do.”

Sanders had not been able to play for the first team in training before he started playing. He started the season as a third-string quarterback and moved to QB2 when the team traded Joe Flacco for Cincinnati Bengals.

He was asked what he thought “went well” about his performance.

“Losing is not something I’m comfortable with at all. So I just have to take this one, you know, I have to take this one,” he said. “I need to relax. I have to understand, like, you know, this actually happened, you know, before my eyes. I don't like this feeling.

“Like I said, I'm still confident. I'm still me. I'm never going anywhere. You know, just going out there, seeing the daylight, that's all I need, you know, to see how they move out there. Playing against a great defense. They've got Pro Bowl guys there, so it's kind of exciting to see. Okay, that's what it's like? Okay. That's what it's like? I'm excited about it. So, you know, I just have to take that and build on it.”
