This release features a dark afterlife created through a combination of deck building, roguelike structure, and co-op multiplayer. Nether Spirits begins with each player being reborn into a domain known as the Nether, a changing world marked by conflict and temptation. Seven playable classes form the basis of the gameplay. Each class takes inspiration from the classic cardinal sin theme, giving each variant a distinct playstyle supported by its own set of cards and combat moves. You can enjoy the adventure alone or with friends thanks to the convenient entry and exit system. This feature allows groups to form naturally during a race. Competitive players can enter structured 1v1 or 2v2 modes where timing, formations and coordination impact each battle. This variety keeps each session fresh while reinforcing the game's emphasis on player-controlled tactics.
Combat uses a timeline system that allows moves to be queued and linked in real time. Players can adjust their plans during combat as new opportunities arise, creating a flow that rewards careful preparation and quick reactions. Strong combinations arise from combining actions, giving each encounter increasing momentum.
