Necesse Launches Out of Steam Early Access Today

Build, complete tasks and win when necessary

Million-selling sandbox adventure Necessarily has officially released its full version, marking the 1.0 release on Steam. After selling over 1.5 million copies during Early Access and receiving nearly fifteen thousand reviews, the game now comes with a major update that expands its world and introduces new features for veterans and newcomers alike. To celebrate the occasion, Necesse is also available in special bundles along with Palworld and Core Keeper.

Set in an endless, seamless, procedurally generated world, Necesse invites players to build, explore and conquer without limits. The top-down sandbox action-adventure allows players to forge their own path as they establish thriving settlements, delve into deep dungeons, or battle monstrous bosses. Each session offers discovery as players mine rare resources, craft powerful equipment, recruit settlers, and lead an ever-growing colony. Play alone or with friends and create your own story in a living, evolving world.

Version 1.0 transforms Necesse into a deeper, more dynamic experience. The update replaces the old island structure with a borderless, seamless world that opens up endless possibilities for exploration. Settlers now come to life through interactive dialogue, talking about everything from everyday problems to dreams and even hamburgers. Over three hundred new sound effects, redesigned and new armor sets, and an extended ending with a climactic final boss further enhance the gameplay experience. The update also includes nearly a hundred community-created builds in world generation, giving players a richer, more diverse landscape to explore.

With these new additions, Necesse is a fully realized sandbox adventure, a blend of creativity, exploration and survival that continues to grow with players.
