DETROIT — Jalen Duren scored 31 points in his return from an ankle injury and Denise Jenkins added 26 points as shorthanded Detroit won its 10th straight game by beating NBA-worst Indiana.
The Pistons have their longest winning streak since 11 games in 2007–08, despite playing the last three games without several key players. Cade Cunningham (hip), Tobias Harris (ankle) and Osar Thompson (ankle) were among the players on the sidelines against Indiana.
The Pacers, meanwhile, are 1-13 and have lost eight straight games. Last year's NBA finalists are mired in their longest losing streak since the 2014-15 season.
Ten players scored for Detroit, five of whom reached double figures. Javonte Green scored 20 points off the bench. Duncan Robinson had 13 points and Isaiah Stewart 10.

Miami led by 10 with 3 minutes left as the Knicks went up 11-3. New York pulled within one point on Towns' 3-pointer with 22.4 seconds left, and Mitchell extended Miami's lead to two about a second later by making the second of two free throws.
This led to New York's most action-packed final possession in which the Knicks thought they had tied the game due to a goaltending decision that was overturned after review.
McBride missed a jumper, Towns got an offensive rebound and missed, and the referees ruled Ware guilty of playing in the goal – a decision that was overturned. The game resumed with a midcourt shot that the Knicks controlled.
McBride missed again, Towns grabbed two more offensive rebounds and missed both attempts to tie the game, and the game ended with Mitchell burying Miami's final rebound as time expired.

Embiid (rehabilitation of a right knee injury) missed his third straight game and his eighth of 13 games this season.
Los Angeles controlled the first three and a half quarters and led 91-81 with 8:44 left on Ivica Zubac's 10-footer. But Philadelphia used a 14-3 run over the next 2:49, capped by Maxey's layup, to take a 95-94 lead. From that point on it was close.

Chicago handed the Nuggets their first home loss of the season in a game in which the Bulls held a 66–9 advantage in bench points.
