2025 NBA The cup remained down to the final four. The Thunder and Spurs earned tickets to Wednesday night's semifinals and will join the Knicks and Magic as four teams in Las Vegas. The semifinals are set for Saturday, with the title game scheduled for Tuesday night.
The Thunder improved to 24-1. with a blowout win over the Suns on Wednesday. They tied the 2015-16 Warriors for the best 25-game start in NBA history and handed the Suns their worst loss in franchise history (49 points). Meanwhile, the Spurs took care of Luka Doncic, LeBron James and the Lakers without Victor Wembanyama. It remains to be seen whether Wemby, who missed a month with a calf strain, will be able to prepare for the semifinal matchup against OKC.
In the East, the Magic and Knicks won on Tuesday night. The Magic rallied after giving up the first 15 points to the Heat to come back and beat their state rival. The Knicks got 35 points from Jalen Brunson in a road win over the Raptors.
The Thunder are currently favorites to win the 2025 NBA Cup (-225 at FanDuel). The Bucks won the competition last year, and the Lakers won the original version in 2023.
