The Canadiens could be an interesting team for Nazem Kadri.
The player situation is getting a lot of attention in Calgary because the Flames Really bad …and if a deal gets done, the Habs could get involved.

However, it is important to note that Kadri has a no-trade clause and a list of 13 teams he would not like to be traded to.
But what's interesting to know is that the Hubs don't 'T on this list. Marco D'Amico provided information about X… and the case, indirectly, becomes even more intriguing.
The Canadiens would likely be interested in Nazem Kadri if he becomes available, but they wouldn't be the only team.
Kadri has a modified NMC (13 teams) and Montreal is confirmed to not be included.

This gets intriguing because Kadri has the tools to correspond well in Montreal.
I would really like to see such a strong, emotional player like him appear on the current Canadiens roster. Kadri is older, he is more experienced, he is a leader on and off the ice… And we know his offensive talent.
But, as Marco D'Amico noted on Twitter, several clubs will be interested in him if he appears on the trade market.
He has the tools to help many National League teams – especially those looking to make the playoffs – and his name is sure to become even more popular in the coming months if the Flames continue to lose.
But Kadri likely won't be the only player the Canadiens are targeting, as Pierre Le Brun said on TSN.(Overdrive).
We can expect Kent Hughes to be aggressive in his efforts to improve the team… and we know he won't be afraid to give more than not enough to add offensive power to his top-9.
There will be even more interesting things to come in Montreal in the coming weeks and months:
LeBrun on TSN OverDrive says the Canadiens have an internal list of centers that could potentially emerge between now and next season. Nazem Kadri is one of those names they would be interested in if he became available later in the season.
