NASA will hold a live news conference at 5:00 pm EST on Thursday at the agency's headquarters in Washington to discuss the International Space Station and its crew.
January 7 agency announced it delayed a planned spacewalk originally scheduled for Jan. 8 while teams tracked a medical issue with a crew member currently living and working aboard the orbiting laboratory.
The case concerned the only crew member who stable. Due to medical confidentiality, NASA is unable to release more details about the crew member.

- Dr. James Polk, Chief of Public Health and Medicine at NASA Headquarters
