As for how I live, here are a few basic facts: I live in a small apartment and am constantly “working on it.” Sometimes this requires rethinking my entire organizational system. Other times I have a sudden urge to wallpaper my kitchen. I am constantly in a state of decorating, cleaning, rearranging and generally improving. Lately this has required a lot of technology and device upgrades to make my environment better and easier to use rather than just nice to look at.
One of the best things I came across was this Shark TurboBlade Cool + Heatwhich is both a heater and a fan. I'm picky about both because I always want it to be warmer and need a heater, but I also like the sound of the fan at night to help me fall asleep (as long as I'm safe from the cool air under the covers). Having both in one is great, and now that the device is $150 off ahead of Black Friday, you might want to consider getting one too.
Shark TurboBlade deal
First of all, I always want to be transparent when a company gives me something to review. That's what happened here. However, I don't write a good review if something stinks, which is why I'm here to say that this thing is extremely useful.
The TurboBlade Cool + Heat typically costs $400. That's a lot, although it makes economic sense if you don't want to spend a ton of money on a good fan and a good heater separately. It also makes sense for someone like me in a small apartment. It's very annoying to have two large devices when you could only have one. However, the $250 discount for the shopping holiday is greatly appreciated.
Fan
The TurboBlade Cool + Heat is bladeless and has a modern look that I like. It's also powerful. You can adjust up to 10 levels of airflow to give you just a little touch or a whole storm. I choose the level 10 storm wind because I'm particularly interested in white noise before bed, but it comes with a handy little remote control so if it gets too loud or too roomy, I don't have to get up to adjust it. The heating option, which is easy to turn on, has three modes. There is a filter on the bottom that seems easy to clean, but I haven't had to do that yet.

You can rotate the vents horizontally or vertically, and they can also tilt and oscillate on their own. If you're going to pay several hundred dollars for something, it needs to do some cool tricks, and it does. You can also darken the control panel, which is what I do because I like to sleep in pitch darkness.
Some specifications: It has a power of 1400 watts, an air capacity of 1180 CFM, and a maximum speed of 10 RPM. It has 120V voltage and weighs just over 21 pounds. I'm a simple person, so I don't pay attention to any of this. except weight. It doesn't come together when assembled, so I foolishly assembled it in the middle of the hallway (which was completely easy to do and took me about five minutes) and then had to lug it around, assembled and heavy, to place it where I wanted it. Is 21 pounds a ton of weight? No, but I had a hard time pushing it up the stairs into my attic bedroom and I would have loved to have assembled it in the room where I planned to use it. Just some advice.
Which Stores Have the Best Black Friday Sales?
What are your thoughts so far?
With both large retailers and small businesses currently competing for Black Friday shoppers, you can expect almost every store to have sales through Monday, December 1, 2025. The “best” sales depend on your needs, but in general, the biggest discounts tend to come from larger retailers that can afford the lower prices: think places like Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy and Home Depot. You can find all the best sales from major retailers. on our live blog.
Are Black Friday Deals Worth Spending?
In short, yes, Black Friday still offers discounts that may be rare the rest of the year. If you want to buy something or are buying gifts, now is the time to look for discounts on what you need, especially technology sales, home improvement productsAnd fitness equipment. Of course, if you need to save money, the best way to save money is to not buy anything.
Are Cyber Monday deals better than Black Friday?
In the past, Black Friday was larger for big retailers and higher-end technology and appliances, while Cyber Monday was for lower-cost technology and gave small businesses the opportunity to compete online. However, at present the distinction is practically meaningless. Every major retailer will be offering sales on both days, and the smart move is to know what you want, use price trackers, or contact guides such as our live blog who use price trackers for you and don't worry about finding the perfect time.
