- MU: The second major update for Pocket Knights is here
- It adds a completely new rune system and tons of content.
- This includes a special Halloween event that you can take part in.
Since its launch in September, MU: Pocket Knights has been in the hands of fans for a long time. According to developer Webzen, the reception has been quite good. But if you had some complaints about MU: Pocket Knights, then the second major update may correct them to some extent.
This update promises some major changes to growth systems and challenges. In particular, in the first case, a rune system is introduced. As in other RPGs, this will allow you to use runes to enhance your equipment and thus your character.
You'll be able to acquire runes through normal gameplay, and they intend to offer more flexibility in upgrading your character for the game. This is a great idea and I'm sure it will be well received by those of you who have some equipment lying around that just needs a little polishing before it can be used.
The runes are cast
Meanwhile, the number of challenges has been expanded, with 30 chapters for battles and another 30 for the Bloody Castle, Devil's Square and Dimensional Maze dungeons, and the Abyss has 20. So if you're looking for opportunities to earn rewards, including runes, this is your best bet.
Lastly, keep an eye out for other new content such as gear and costumes. There's also a Halloween event called Trick or Treat Rush, where you collect pumpkins and Halloween candy that you can then exchange for rewards.
MY: Pocket Knights definitely has the opportunity to live up to the legacy of its iconic predecessor. But if you're wondering how much competition it'll face, good news! Because we matched best mobile games of 2025 (so far) in one place for you to watch!
