- The latest Monopoly Go collaboration is just around the corner with a magical new line-up
- The world of Harry Potter, inspired by the films, appears in Monopoly Go
- Visit iconic locations around the world, play mini-games, and collect collectibles.
Since it's such a popular adaptation of the classic board game, it's no surprise that Scopely's Monopoly Go doesn't have shy about cooperation. And their latest book will be released on December 10th in the popular children's book series, Harry Potter and His World of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Harry Potter is perhaps best known for the series of films starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint as the titular trio of Harry, Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley, respectively. Now in Monopoly Go you can explore iconic locations from the films, such as Gringotts Wizarding Bank and the Forbidden Forest.
Perhaps the biggest addition here is the seasonal maps, which will be updated and offer different designs depending on the locations in the series. In the meantime, you'll also be able to choose your own personal home using the new House Crest Shields customization mechanic, as well as take part in the new Blocks Boutiques mini-game.
Up, up and away
While this obviously adds popular things taken from the film series, what's even more interesting are the new mechanics. Seasonal maps in particular can offer you much more fun in future co-op projects with different locations changing during them.
But if this team is your main concern, there's plenty more to see. New sticker book, treasures and collectibles, and Quidditch-inspired mini-games. And since this collaboration will be available until February 4th, you'll have plenty of time to dive into the new content being added here.
It can be difficult to stay ahead of the curve with so many great new releases, updates, and collaborations. But don't worry, because we've got you covered with our eponymous feature that looks at the great early access games to come! This week Katherine hosts Watch Girls' Frontline: Fire Control to see how it matches.
