Modern classic momentum platformer N++ gets a 10th anniversary update as its devs tease what’s next for them

Love any genres, but for me personally I find platformers be a typical video game genre. Even with the most challenging games out there, there are very few other genres that (if done well) can be just as easy and quick to pick up, play, and enjoy. I think that's why many of them live so long. One of these games is H++a challenging but fair platformer that celebrates its 10th anniversary with a new update.

Available now and appropriately named TEN++ (as if there was any other choice), it's a pretty simple update: more game! This means an increase in the number of levels in the game's single-player, co-op and racing modes. For solo, there are two new level sets called “?!” And “!?” respectively, with co-op and racing each receiving one set of levels, both called TEN++. In the trailer announcing the update, developer Metanet Software stated that “no one can do it 100%… for real this time!”

IN blog postThe developers also opened up a bit about working on N++, saying that “By 2018, we were pretty burnt out after working tirelessly on N++ for over 6 years. We took a little break – but the thing is, we always come back to creating levels. For those of you who have tried it, it's just fun and somehow there are always new ideas to explore.” Subsequently, over the years, they continued to create more levels, “rediscovering what is so special about this game”, thanking the gaming community for its enthusiasm in helping them achieve this.

Oh, and there's more good news: Metanet Software has started development on its next game. They are silent about it for now, but you can sign up to hear about it (and maybe play its beta version) in the future.

And if you've never played it before, it's currently under three pounds on Steaman offer that is hard to turn down.
