“The enemy among us, devouring us in Virginia and in America today,” Sirs said in a fiery speech. “Jay Jones fantasizes about the dead little children lying lifeless in the arms of their mother. And yet he is running for the prosecutor general, our chief law enforcement officer. ”
Shokhi followed the publication of private text messages in 2022, in which Jones, then The rising star of the DemocratHe said that he hoped that the former speaker of the Republican Chamber of Todd Gilbert would die. But the Republicans from Virginia said that the damage is irreversible. Miyares, who served as the Prosecutor General since 2022, wrote that as a prosecutor he “sat with crying victims and mourning families” and heard “the cries of the parent who lost the child.” He nobody said: “At least, a candidate for the Higher Law enforcement department of Virginia, should never relate to such pain as a political instrument.”
The letter of Miyares put the bets of the race in a simple language. “If you think that you can wish death from a political opponent – vote for my enemy,” he wrote. “If you think that children are worth the death of children to advance your political goals – vote for my enemy. If you want to give a green light to violent crazy people, vote for my enemy. ”
The Prosecutor General said that his own oath obliges him to protect each Virginia, “regardless of whether they are a democrat or a Republican.” He added: “I can’t imagine that someone ran for this work that advocates violence.”

“The leadership of the Democratic Party is inciting to violence as a strategy for victory in power,” Sirs said. She noted that the candidate for Governor's candidate Abigail Salberger called on his supporters to “let your rage fill you.”
“Well, the words matter,” Sirs continued. “Fury is defined as cruel, uncontrolled anger.” She warned Virginia to pay attention, citing past threats and attacks on the Republicans throughout the country, with attempts at 2022 about the life of Judge Brett Cavanano at school executions aimed at Christians.
“The unstable triggers pulls,” Sirs added, “but they are inspired by hatred, tolerant and enthusiastic leadership of the Democratic Party.”
Both Republicans created a contradiction as a turning point in the 2025 elections.
“Until this week, this race has been about competing views on public security,” Miyares wrote. “Now we are talking about basic fitness for a public office.”
