Missouri sports betting gets help from former Rams and Chiefs star

Former NFL star Trent Green will lead the Missouri meet. sports betting to the state on December 1.

Green, a former St. Louis Rams quarterback who was on the team when the team won the Super Bowl in the 1999 season, has partnered with Caesars Sportsbook to promote the launch of in-person sportsbooks at the state's two casinos and a mobile sports betting app.

“Sports betting is finally coming to Missouri,” he told Fox News Digital. “It’s a natural connection with me. I grew up in St. Louis. I played for the Rams a couple of times, played for the Chiefs for six years. So I spent most of my life traveling all over the state. And the fact that sports betting is finally here seemed natural to us.”

He said he would start his journey by betting on Indiana Hoosiers – his university alma mater.
