“I think we are stupid at home. We are very stupid parents when it comes to our children, but we don't have the skills to do it,” Kunis. spoke about the general style of raising her and Kutcher on Teach me something new podcast in 2020. “I think this is just idiotic. I think we're very comfortable being fools at home, but maybe that comes from the idea of being comfortable in your body, in your skin, in your mind and not being afraid to make a fool of yourself.”
And that extends to sometimes wearing a costume you don't need to please your child, which Kunis once did for Halloween.
“That’s what sucks about having a baby: they tell you what to do and you listen. Because you pick your battles and you think, “Well, I guess this isn't one of them,” she explained Jimmy Kimmel in 2017. “I tried to convince my daughter, 'Don't you want to be Batman or Superman or something cool?' She was like, “No, mom! I'll be Cinderella! I thought, “Eww!” Disgusting! OK!”
As for Kunis, Wyatt asked her to dress up as Elsa from Frozen. “I was like, ‘No, baby. Mom is not Elsa,” recalls the actress. “Guess who mom was? Elsa was the mother. I've come to terms with it, guys. I had a blonde wig on and everything.”
