- MiHoYo shows off fan creations at the new HoYoFair fan concert.
- It will feature live performances of songs from their catalogue.
- The show will go on tour to cities in Europe and the USA.
Since the launch of Genshin Impact, MiHoYo has gone from being a fairly popular developer to a developer consistently releasing global hits. Therefore, it is not surprising that during this time they have gathered a lot of fans. And even less surprising is that they fan event, HoYoFairturned out to be such a hit with them.
Now fans across Europe and the US will have the opportunity to experience something new with the launch of the HoYoFair fan concert in 2026. The concert, which will take place in cities such as Paris and New York, will feature live performances of selected soundtrack tracks from MiHoYo's catalog of hits. The event itself is organized with the support of 54 Entertainment and Charisma Tanuki Productions.
This means you will be able to hear Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai Impact 3rd perform live on stage. The best part is that all of this will feature the creations of dedicated fans, which, although not canonical, are still celebrated by MiHoYo as some of the best. Tickets go on pre-sale on the 26th, with general sales going on a couple of days later on the 28th.
Final effect
I certainly don't mean to unduly praise MiHoYo on this matter. I mean, a large company deciding to hold a concert is not exactly a pure charity. But coming from the world of miniature wargaming, I well remember the hype around the old 40k crackdown on fan animations and other similar projects.
So it's quite ironic to see that MiHoYo, despite how pathetic their catalog is, ridiculed by those outside the mobile space, does more to highlight fan creations.
Anyway, let's do a 180 degree turn today. Because all this happiness might be a little tiring for some of you. So if you want to mix things up with a little horror, why not. dig into our Slender Threads point-and-click horror review?
