CIA The story centers on two unlikely partners – a fast-talking, rule-breaking CIA officer (Ellis) and a tough, experienced and smart FBI agent (Gehlfuss) who believes in the rule of law. When this odd couple is assigned to work at the New York office of the CIA, they must learn to work together to investigate cases and criminals that pose a threat on US soil, discovering that their differences may actually be their strength.
Michel played the head of the New York office of the CIA. The series also stars Natalie Linez as a CIA analyst.
The premiere was originally planned for autumn 2025. CIA was pushed back to midseason in July due to a change in showrunner: Warren Lee replaced him. FBI: Most Wanted showrunner David Hudgins.
Dick Wolf and Leith executive producers CIA along with Nicole Perlman, David Chasteen and Peter Jankowski. Universal Television, a division of the Universal Studio Group, produces the series in association with Wolf Entertainment and CBS Studios.
