Miami-Dade debuts America’s first autonomous police patrol vehicle

Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office recently announced a bold experiment that could redefine the future of law enforcement. The department has unveiled the Patrol Partner Unmanned Ground Vehicle, or PUG, which it claims is America's first fully autonomous patrol vehicle.

PUG Patrol Partner is equipped with high-tech features. It integrates with police databases, license plate readers and real-time crime analysis software.
