Right-wing talking heads like Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin once reserved his sharpest jabs for liberals, immigrants and Joe Biden. But suddenly they drop their biggest bombs on each other.

The two veteran hosts have been feuding since the Turning Point USA convention in mid-December, when Ben ShapiroThe president's keynote speech criticizing right-wing conspirators such as Tucker Carlson sparked a minor crisis in MAGA-world. But what began as a debate over principles and tactics has become increasingly personal in recent days, with Levin calling his former Fox colleague a “degenerate” and a “laughingstock” and Kelly calling Levin an “irrelevant and bitter man.”
The feud between the former colleagues escalated Tuesday when Levine's latest anti-Kelly article appeared on Channel X. “Meg Kelly, whose ratings were so bad on NBC that she became a laughingstock, was dropped for promoting blackface on Halloween,” Levine wrote, referring to Kelly's untimely departure from the magazine. The growing ideological divisions within the MAGA movement erupted into the open at AmericaFest, Turning Point USA's annual conference, when Ben Shapiro took the stage and denounced those he called “fraudsters” in the conservative movement. “The Conservative movement is in grave danger from charlatans who claim to speak in the name of principle but are in fact engaged in conspiracy and dishonesty who offer nothing but bile and despair,” he said in a speech that earned a standing ovation from the crowd.
Shapiro also chastised Kelly, along with Carlson and Steve Bannon, for their failure to back down from conspiracy podcaster Owens, who has repeatedly suggested, without evidence, that Charlie Kirk, the late co-founder of Turning Point, was killed in September as part of a global conspiracy that may have involved the Israeli government, the FBI and Kirk's widow, Erica. (Owens responded to Shapiro's remarks by calling him a “dwarf” and accusing Jews of the slave trade. Kelly argued that critics such as Shapiro and CBS News President Bari Weiss were motivated by their support for Israel.)
At Fox, where Kelly was once a popular prime-time host, the network's usually talkative hosts are staying silent as their former colleagues struggle. Not a single Fox News personality except Levin mentioned these troubles. “It's like crazy versus crazy. Who are you going to root for?” What fight?” one longtime Fox News producer wryly says: Hollywood Reporter. Fox News executives aren't taking sides either.
