Meghan's grand entrance
“We are in a large brownstone on the Upper East Side that belongs to one of Meghan’s friends,” Greenidge wrote in a story about their October meeting.

Many wondered why such a detail was mentioned, as many believed the writer wanted to expose Meghan's “delusions of grandeur.”
One person wrote: “Such a questionable quote, I love it,” while another suggested: “The whole article was an exercise in extreme sarcasm. They very politely tore a new one out of her.”
The journalist explained that Meghan and Prince Harry were in New York at the time to receive the Humanitarian of the Year award from the mental health nonprofit Project Healthy Minds.
And although the duchess was announced, Meghan was not wearing a tiara or a ballgown; rather, she was wearing black leggings and an oversized Northwestern sweatshirt with her hair pulled back from her seemingly makeup-free face.
“She looks like she could still be in college,” Greenridge described.

Greenidge said that after the meal, the waiter returned with an “unwanted cappuccino” – with a “photorealistic image” of Meghan in foam on top.
“Oh. I recognize that photo. It's from our trip to South Africa,” Meghan gushed about the 2019 reference, even taking a photo of it, the writer said.
