There's no need for Jack Skellington when there's anonymous developer John Megabonk, who just released a slightly belated Halloween update for his popular roguelike.
“MEGABONK SCARY UPDATE IS OUT, just in time for Halloween,” developer Vedinad announces on Twitterpromising “CANNED SPAGHETTI WITH EXTRA SAUCE.”
This spaghetti sauce really looks bubbly and thick. more detailed list of patch notes on Steam indicates that the Megabonk update includes a ton of new content, including a crypt map, undead enemies, and a playable bedsheet ghost wearing sunglasses.
“This was originally going to be a small Halloween update, but I wanted to make it a little bigger, so it took a little more work than I originally planned,” explains Vedinad. “Anyway, I hope you like it!” The creepy update also adds a number of advanced customization options, such as the ability to skip some animations or hide the Megabonk HUD, as well as bug fixes and balance changes.
