So, full disclosure: I'm a second generation Italian millennial who grew up in Jersey Shore. And this means that for me this is a special series, near and dear to my little Gina heart.
Because I essentially treated the show as a cultural documentary series, I became somewhat of a self-proclaimed Jersey Shore historian for many years. At 90 years old I will recite: “You touched my lips with your lips.” best friends…Jay420, Joey Yanks, Bill…”, somewhere in a rocking chair, still quoting JWOWW like holy scripture.
But it doesn't stop there Jersey Shore. The show, which became iconic, had to multiply and I loved being immersed in it. Shore branches. The 2009–2012 OG series didn't just leave a cultural mark—it launched an entire ecosystem of global spinoffs, from Geordie Shore in the UK to Gandia Shore in Spain, Floribama Shore in the USA and even Rio Shore in Brazil. And now, finally… it's Canada's turn.
Paramount+ simple dropped a teaser for the long-awaited Canada Coast, It will premiere on January 22, 2026 on Paramount+. Filmed in Kelowna, it follows 10 unruly Canadians determined to rewrite the stereotype: Polite? Probably not. Quiet? Never. Boring? This Certainly doesn't look right.
