If the idea wasn't already exciting enough, the film, due out July 17th, mark your calendars, has perhaps the most stellar cast you could think of: Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, ZendayaCharlize Theron, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong'o, just to name a few.
During filming in 2025 details film adaptations were shrouded in mystery. But one thing that hasn't been kept secret is Matt's physical transformation.

Matt's toned physique has been the talk of the town for months – even his best friend Ben Affleck has spoken about it. say something He told Entertainment Tonight, “I have to respect it, it's hard work… but he gets it done.”
As we already mentioned, there was a lot of secrecy around. Odysseybut as the release date approaches, Matt has opened up about his physical transformation for the title role.

“Yes, I was in very good shape,” he replied. “I have lost a lot of weight. [Christopher Nolan, the director] said he wanted me to be lean but strong. It's a strange thing.”
After sharing a little about his weight loss, Matt said he stopped eating gluten on the advice of his doctor. He combined this with “a lot of training and a very strict diet” and ended up weighing less than he had since he was a teenager.
“I used to walk around weighing 185 to 200 pounds. And I did this whole movie at 167 pounds,” he said. “I haven’t been this easy since high school.”
Comparing the journey to Travis and Jason's experiences as NFL athletes, Matt said it's just “part of your job.” “I think it's like a season, what it's like for you guys where you're preparing,” he said. “It's just part of your day… It feels like you really get into a routine and build your day around it all. It's kind of the physical side of getting ready.”
As for the current state of his diet, it looks like the gluten-free lifestyle has caught on. “I'm done. I'm gluten-free,” he said. “I found a gluten-free beer. I haven't had gluten in so long that I can't tell if it's good or not. So that's a good sign.”
