Mass casualties have been reported following an explosion at a nursing home in suburban Philadelphia in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
A Tuesday report on Channel X's Breaking 911 showed video of emergency personnel and police responding to an unknown explosion at a Silver Lake nursing home. Smoke can be seen rising from the building in the background.

It happened around 2:15 p.m. at the Silver Lake Nursing Home in the 900 block of Tower Road in Bristol Township.
WPVI's Action News has learned there are numerous reports of people trapped.
Upper Makefield Township police are calling it a mass casualty incident. The public is asked to avoid the area due to the widespread emergency. In response, the fire department declared a third alarm. No injuries were immediately reported.

At the time of writing this report, no other information has yet been provided regarding what may have caused the explosion.
However, the PhillyCrimeUpdate account on X blamed the explosion on gas.
